A Stunning Urban Swimming Pool With An Infinity Edge

This pool is more than just a pretty face. You can't help but notice the way the infinity edge makes it feel limitless - like there's not even a wall between the pool and those city views. It's got this calm,, welcoming feeling that works so well for a family home right in the city.

The whole design was done with the idea of kids (school-aged) having plenty of space to unwind, play, and just hang out. It was meant to pull you in for a swim, but still keep everything peaceful and restorative. You can really see how this pool manages to tick all those boxes. The family asked for a pool and backyard area they could use to relax together, and somewhere to entertain their friends and family - people wanted to make sure the wonderful view was still showcased - and they were after a calming space to get away from the busy city, but still in the heart of everything. And we've managed to pull it off.

You can see why people love it. It's such a clever frame for the beautiful city skyline. The pool is right in that spot where inside becomes outside. The big doors mean you don't notice the change from indoors to outdoors - the whole entertainment space feels open and part of the same zone.

It's a concrete pool, built in the ground so you hardly notice where it stops and the rest of the garden begins. We've finished it with 65mm by 65mm porcelain mosaic white tiles - they come on mesh so they look completely seamless. The tiles look amazing in the light, but we added LED lights so you really notice the ambience at night - it's just a great spot to gather with friends and family for a meal, kids playing in the pool. It makes the whole house feel alive.

This is such a practical pool too - we've thought through all the details. We added in a few extras to make pool cleaning easier, including a Paramount in-floor cleaning system so there's less fuss.
