When we first met our clients, their backyard was like a blank canvas - a simple patch of grass. The family wanted a show-stopping space - somewhere to throw a party, stretch out with friends, or just unwind after a busy week. We pictured something bold, something that would make people stop and say, wow. Now, as you walk out the back door, this pool is the first thing you see, and it has become the breathtaking centrepiece of the entire property. The transformation is immense - and completely satisfying. We poured a lot of care into getting every detail right, so it feels every bit as luxurious as it looks.

The spa alone is a generous 2.6m x 2.6m and spills over gracefully into the main pool, creating something genuinely opulent - and just very pleasing to the eye. For the surface, we chose beautiful ceramic tiles for their vibrant blue hue and sheer sophistication. The contrast between the tiles in the pool and spa helps each part claim a bit of attention for itself, and also just makes it easier to tell which is which - exercise zone over here, pure relaxation zone there. But honestly, the whole thing ties together so well and that gentle, continuous flow of water from spa to pool is just so inviting.

When it comes to equipment, this pool is set up with quality in mind. It’s got a PV3 Automatic Pool Cleaning System from Paramount (which is fantastic, by the way), an AstralPool filter and EQ18 AstralPool salt chlorinator, plus a reliable 350-meg Viron gas heater, and two underwater lights. There are timers on all the equipment and solar heating to keep running costs and maintenance time down - and to make things a bit easier for the family. This pool is definitely made for year-round enjoyment, so the best thing we could do was make it effortless to keep everything running smoothly.
